This is my (Courtney's) favorite place to spend time when I am in town. I would recommend coming here in the morning for the Farmer's Market. Eating breakfast/lunch at Book Club Cafe. There are so many shops to pop into. Bin 303 and Zanatas are my favorite restaurants. So many family dinners and drinks with friends have happened at both of these! The Downing a few doors down is a cute place to get small plates and drinks.

This is such a magical place. I (Courtney) grew up coming here every year as a little kid with family and friends. It is HUGE and there are many walking paths filled with beautiful flowers and activities for you and your family and friends to enjoy. If you love museums and history this is a must! The Museum, located within the former Texas School Book Depository building, walks you through the assassination and legacy of President John F. Kennedy. Many field trips in grade school were taken here :) Visit the website here.

A great place to hang out! Standard Service is in a town called Heath that is right next to Rockwall. So many fun yard games and yes, they do have pickle ball courts! Great food and fun. Places to enjoy the sun, and also sit in the cool indoors :) Visit their website here.
